Named for Enzo Ferrari's son, Alfredino, who had died in 1956 at the age of 24 ,the Dino was, fittingly, a "baby" Ferrari that was dimensionally smaller than any other street Ferrari previously offered..Sports Car Grafic called it "an engineering masterpiece" . Famous Ferrari enthusisast and writer Mel Nicols noted in his test of the new 246GTS, "In all motorings history there have been
few vehicles so balanced, integrated, and complete as this one."
Featuring the removable targa roof , Ferrari produced approximately 1,200 units for the American market.
Owned by a Greenwich Ferrari collector/racer and customer of CHMC, this Dino comes with original Ferrari factory tools and leather pouch.
In the most desirable color combination, Ferrari red with tan and black "Daytona" seats.
