Carriage House Motor Cars is pleased to offer this one of a kind 1965 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III Continental Coupe. This motorcar was special ordered by the King of Bahrain, H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Sheikh Salman Al Khalifa. The royal family was already a patron of Rolls-Royce Motorcars but added this example to the collection to be one of the crown jewels. This example was special ordered with a number of optional features that are said to have only been ordered on this example. According to the build sheet from Rolls-Royce, this example was ordered with full colonial specification, full refrigeration, cocktail requisites which included Tudor Crystal Glasses, Decanters and Thermos. The motorcar was also ordered with Whitewall Tires, and a Phillips 45 RPM record Player, which according to the build sheet a lengthy procedure was undertaken to install under the dashboard. It is presented in its original Porcelain White over Scarlet Connolly hides and features hand panted royal family crests on the doors. This example has been known to Carriage House Motor Cars since it was first purchased by us in 1972. It has been apart of some great collections throughout its life and has been shown at some prominent Rolls-Royce Concourses over the years. It is in exceptional original condition and is now available for its next steward.
