Among the RARE FV2B, this car is one of just a few to have been fitted with manual stick shift transmission, a factory option that was supplied by Paul Cavallier's
Pont-a Mousson company and allowed the more sporting owner to take full advantage of the 330 HEMI engine.
The 56106 was originally designated to be sold new in Paris to American Banker, Ted Bassett. As supplied it wore two tone paintwork. In 1984 the car had migrated to the US and became the property of a known Facel Collector and then purchased by a major collector in love with Facel Vegas. He is responsible for the very fine condition this car is in today.
In addition to its aforementioned manual transmission, it is shod with Robergel wire wheels, and is complete with rarely found four piece FACTORY luggage and original tool kit.
